Questions, answered.

The ones people actually ask, answered the way we would answer them in person.

Is WealthWelly financial advice?

No. WealthWelly is a record of what you own and owe, with careful arithmetic on top. Estimates are labelled as estimates and nothing on the site is a recommendation to buy, sell or move anything. If you are unsure what is right for your circumstances, speak to a regulated financial adviser.

Can WealthWelly move my money?

Never. There is no facility for it anywhere in the product. WealthWelly reads and records; it cannot transfer, withdraw or trade, and we will not build a version that can.

Do I need to connect my bank?

No. Today WealthWelly is manual first: you enter balances and valuations, and we keep the history, the exchange rates and the arithmetic honest, with live pricing for currencies and crypto. Bank and broker connections are planned, under a regulated provider, and nothing about the product waits for them.

When do bank feeds arrive?

When we can do them properly under a regulated open banking provider, and not before. Reading UK bank data is a regulated activity, so connections ship once that arrangement is confirmed, not on a marketing date. The trust page will say so plainly the day it changes.

How do you value my house?

As an honest range rather than a single guess: a low and a high, informed by recent sold prices near you. The middle of the range goes into your total, the band is shown alongside, and the figure is always labelled an estimate. We remind you when a valuation goes stale.

What is a snapshot?

Once a day WealthWelly saves your total: what you owned, what you owed and the exchange rates used, stamped with the date. Snapshots are never rewritten, so your history stays exactly as it was shown at the time. If you correct an old figure, the correction is recorded visibly alongside, not painted over the past.

Where does crypto pricing come from?

From CoinGecko, priced in pounds. Self-custody wallets are tracked by public address only: we never ask for private keys or seed phrases, and exchange connections, when they come, will be read-only.

What happens to my data if I leave?

It leaves with you. Export everything to a spreadsheet-friendly file with one click at any time, then delete your account wholesale from the account page. We would rather earn your renewal than trap you.

Do you sell my data?

No. Not aggregated, not anonymised, not to anyone. Our analytics are our own and cookieless, counting pages rather than people, and there is no advertising or third-party tracking script anywhere on the site.

What does WealthWelly cost?

Nothing during early access. A fair price will come once the product has earned one, export and leaving will stay free whatever happens, and early users hear about pricing first, before it applies to them.

The small print, plainly

Two things worth saying twice.

Estimates are estimates.

House values, pension capitalisations, scenario bands and tax figures are careful arithmetic on stated assumptions, not promises. Every estimated figure is labelled as one, and where a figure comes from a market snapshot we show the date it was taken.

No bank connections exist yet.

Anything on this site about automatic feeds describes the plan, not the product. Today every balance is one you entered, plus live currency and crypto pricing. We will not present an unbuilt feature as a live one.
