Leaving, made easy.
A product that holds your whole financial picture owes you a clear way out of it. Here is ours, in the same words the buttons use.
Export first
From your account page, one click gives you everything you have entered, in a file a spreadsheet opens: every asset, every liability, every valuation with its date, currency and exchange rate. Export is free, always available and never rationed. Take a copy whenever you like, leaving or not; it is your data either way.
Then delete your account
Deleting your account removes your data from the live system: your records, your valuations, your history, your email address and authenticator secrets. We do not keep a shadow profile in case you return, and coming back later means starting a fresh picture, which we would rather tell you now than surprise you with then.
Finishing the cleanup
If an invited connection test has granted provider access, deletion stops local access immediately. We keep only the encrypted reference needed to withdraw that permission while the provider request completes. Failed requests remain for operator attention. This does not keep your portfolio active, and a supplier may have its own retention requirements.
Backup copies
Account deletion changes the live service immediately. It does not rewrite existing database backups. Routine backups expire through our retention schedule, and separate release recovery copies may also exist. Contact hello@wealthwelly.com for a request covering backup copies or any remaining records.
No exit interview required
You do not have to tell us why, click through a retention offer or talk to anyone. If you want to say why, we read hello@wealthwelly.com and a reason helps us build a better product for the people who stay. But it is a favour, not a toll.
The point of all this
An easy exit is not generosity, it is the product working as designed. We keep customers by being useful. If WealthWelly stops being useful to you, the door is marked, unlocked and free, and you leave with everything you brought plus everything you built.
