Terms of use.

Short on purpose. If a clause here surprises you, tell us; surprises in terms are a bug.

The service

WealthWelly is a record of what you own and owe, with history, analysis and suggestions built on top. It is read-only by design: it cannot move, hold or touch money, and it never will. During early access the service is free and changing quickly; we will tell you about material changes rather than let you discover them.

Your account

Keep your password to yourself and tell us at once if you think someone else has it. The figures you enter are yours to get right; the arithmetic on them is ours to get right. One person per account, and you must be old enough to hold the accounts you are recording.

Your data

Everything you enter remains yours. You can export it at any time and delete your account wholesale whenever you choose, as the leaving page describes. We do not sell personal data. The privacy policy is part of these terms and is written to be read.

Not advice

Nothing in WealthWelly is financial advice, tax advice or a recommendation. Estimates are labelled as estimates and are built on stated assumptions. Decisions about your money are yours, and for the big ones a regulated financial adviser is the right person to talk to, not a website.

Our responsibilities, and their limits

We work to keep the service accurate, available and secure, and this site describes honestly what it does and does not do. We are not liable for decisions made on the numbers you entered, for losses in assets we merely record, or for the conduct of any third party the site links to. Where the law gives you rights, nothing here shrinks them.

Ending things

You can leave at any time. We can close accounts that abuse the service or the people running it, and if we ever had to wind the service down we would give you notice and a full export first. Your financial history should always be able to leave with you.
